Mijn dagelijkse dierproefvrije make-up routine #2

Het vinden van fijne make-up producten kan lastig zijn, al helemaal als je gaat voor dierproefvrije make-up producten. Vandaag deel ik mijn dagelijkse dieproefvrije make-up routine. Hopelijk haal je er wat inspiratie uit!

Waarom dierproefvrije make-up?

Elk make-up product dat ik koop is dierproefvrij. In Nederland (en Europa) zijn dierproeven niet toegestaan. Desondanks geldt dit niet overal. Met name in China is het toegestaan om producten en grondstoffen te testen op dieren. Veel bedrijven, zoals MAC en L’oreál Paris, verkopen hun producten zowel in Europa als China. Het is dus niet gegarandeerd dat alle cosmetica dierproefvrij is. Meer weten over hoe dat zit met dierproefvrije make-up? Check dan zeker de blog Naoki van Sophie. Mijn eigen gedachtegang hierover is dat ik geen bedrijven wil steunen die producten verkopen in China. Voor mij is dat een statement dat bedrijven oké zijn met dierproeven zolang er geld mee te verdienen valt. Dus ik koop zelf geen producten van bedrijven die ook in China verkopen.

In december deelde ik al eerder mijn dagelijkse make-up routine. Net als dat mijn fotografie is verbeterd, geldt dat ook voor mijn make-up routine. Sindsdien gebruik ik andere producten en heb ik een paar oude herontdekt. Ik laat vandaag stap voor stap zien welke producten ik gebruik. Mocht je zelf nog tips & tricks hebben, laat het me dan zeker weten!

Foundation & Concealer

  • Fresh Nude Foundation in BoraBora Tiare 012 van The Body Shop
  • Stay All Day concealer van Essence
  • Camouflage Cream van Catrice
  • Beautyblender dupe van Real Techniques

De foundation van The Body Shop heb ik voor de tweede keer gekocht. Ik breng deze aan op een gereinigd gezicht (zonder primer) met de beautyblender. Eventuele oneffenheden haal ik weg met de creme concealer en de vloeibare concealer gebruik ik onder mijn ogen.

Brows & Eyes

  • Eyebrow set van Catrice
  • Wenkbrauw kwast #14 van Anastasia Beverly Hills
  • Wenkbrauwgel van Catrice
  • Glam & Doll mascara van Catrice
  • Liquid Liner van Catrice

Eerder gebruikte ik de wenkbrauw pomade van Anastasia Beverly Hills, maar deze beviel toch niet. De pomade werd hard en bracht nogal streperig aan. Deze poeder is echt mijn favoriet en heeft een bijgevoegd kwastje en borsteltje, super handig! Ik breng de wenkbrauwpoeder aan met het kwastje van Anastasia en breng ze in model met de wenkbrauw gel.

Met de eyeliner doe ik een poging tot een winged liner, met nadruk op een poging. Daarna krul ik mijn wimpers en breng ik waterproof mascara aan.

Mijn gezicht poeder ik eerst af met de losse transparante poeder van elf. Losse poeder is nooit een goed idee. Eigenlijk is deze ook ontzettend onhandig want o-ver-al ligt poeder. Maar het effect is wel heel mooi. Mijn gezicht geef ik kleur met de Summer Waves van The Body Shop. Dit doosje is super handig want volgens mij is het een soort bronzer/blush/highlighter in één.

  • Matte Lip Liquid in Nairobi Camellia 034

Als allerlaatste stap gebruik ik een setting spray van The Body Shop. Deze zorgt ervoor dat mijn make-up goed met elkaar blendt en dat het langer blijft zitten. Als ik zin heb breng ik deze liquid lipstick van The Body Shop aan en deze kleur is echt geweldig.
